”It is a privilege to have been able to contribute to the architecture, with Arch. Akin and Brad, for the Christian school and the Women’s and Children’s Centre in Ogan, Nigeria. This journey has served as a reminder that the true measure of success lies not only in the structures we build, but also in the lives they empower.
We are moving from success to significance—from simply completing a project to witnessing the eternal impact of a temporal facility. Walls and roofs may be temporary, but the education, hope, protection, and faith nurtured within them will echo into generations yet to come.
I am humbled that our work can play even a small part in what God is doing in this community. As Scripture reminds us: “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” — Psalm 127:1. We commit this work and its impact to Him alone.” Alvin Fritz Architect
On IKORE OGAN HARVEST THANKSGIVING—Chief Tunde Soboyejo, the Ajana Oro of Ifoland, said:
Despite his traditional beliefs, he can never joke about Ogan St. James Church, based on what the forefathers had foretold regarding the importance of the church’s Harvest Thanksgiving. “Without that church and Ogan Primary School, there is no Ogan. We must preserve our heritage by all means.”
